Who’s writing this

I’m Andy Wilson, founder of The Bright Fig, a strategic business consulting firm based in Connecticut.

Before starting The Bright Fig, I worked at Apple. I also hold AI and technology certifications from IBM and Google. More importantly, I’ve spent years working alongside leaders who are responsible for making real decisions, often without perfect information, unlimited time, or a simple answer.

I started this newsletter after hearing the same thing again and again: capable people in good organizations knew something was not working, but could not get clear on what needed to change, who needed to own it, or how to move forward without creating more problems.

Sometimes the issue is strategy. Sometimes it is operations. Sometimes it is leadership. Often, it is the thing no one has been willing to say plainly.
